How to Play
Every Carpe Five game mode in one place.
In one sentence
Every mode is about timing precisely — the closer you stop to the target, the bigger the reward.
💡 Hearts vs BC entry
- ♥ Normal modes (Main / Time Attack / Gauntlet): cost hearts to enter. Pay out coins + season points.
- ◆ Tournament mode : same Time Attack gameplay but 1 BC entry replaces hearts. Pay out BC + items.
- 🎯 Bingo : 0.1 BC per press, BC prizes for completed patterns (first card is free).
Main Game
Stop exactly at 5.000 seconds — precision timing
Target 5.000s · ±10ms is «precise»
How it works
- 1Each attempt costs 3 hearts (hearts auto-regenerate). Tap the green «Start» button — a 5-second timer immediately begins counting up from 0.000.
- 2Watch the timer climb. When it gets near 5.000s, tap «Stop» at the exact moment you think it's right. The system records the precise stop time (e.g. 4.987s or 5.014s).
- 3The smaller your gap from 5.000s, the bigger the reward: ±100ms (4.900-5.100s) still passes; ±50ms earns bonus coins; ±10ms is «precise»; ≤5ms is «perfect» and pays the most.
- 4Ten levels total. Level 1 allows ±500ms (anyone passes); each level narrows tolerance; Level 10 allows only ±10ms — a real test of timing and consistency.
Reward
Perfect (≤5ms) pays coins + season points + perfect badge. Clearing Level 10 makes you eligible to claim a share of the US$1 billion grand prize. Even non-perfect clears within tolerance pay coins + season points per level.
💡 Tip
Levels 1-3 are warm-ups, no pressure. Levels 4-5 already pay decently — good for daily grinding. Level 10 is the prize gate but very hard; most new players take a week+ to reach it. Pace yourself.
Time Attack
5 rounds back-to-back · lowest cumulative error → highest tier
5 rounds · lower Σ → higher tier
How it works
- 1Each entry costs 5 hearts. You jump straight into Round 1; the 5 rounds run continuously and the whole match takes ~2 minutes.
- 2Each round is an independent 5-second countdown: tap «Start», wait for ~5.000s, tap «Stop». The system auto-advances to the next round.
- 3The absolute error of each round sums into a «cumulative error Σ». Example: rounds +24ms / -18ms / +31ms / +10ms / -12ms → Σ = 95ms.
- 4Σ determines your tier: T1 (<100ms) is champion; T2 (100-300ms) silver; T3 (300-600ms) bronze; T4 (>600ms) honourable. Your personal best Σ ranks on the season leaderboard for end-of-season payouts.
Reward
T1: max coins + season points + 3× card fragments. T2: 2×. T3: 1×. T4: small participation reward. First time hitting a new tier each day also pays bonus BC.
💡 Tip
Consistency matters more than chasing a single perfect round. Five ±20ms rounds (Σ=100ms, near T1) beats four perfects + one ±200ms blowout (Σ>200ms, falls to T2). Steady wins.
Daily Gauntlet
5 rounds daily · tolerance tightens each round · win rate ranks BC
5 rounds · tolerance tightens
How it works
- 1Resets daily at 00:00 HKT. First attempt of the day is FREE (your intro try); retries cost 5 hearts.
- 2Tolerances tighten each round: R1 ±100ms, R2 ±50ms, R3 ±30ms, R4 ±20ms, R5 ±10ms. Tap Start → Stop; if error is within tolerance, that round counts as a win.
- 3The system tallies your daily wins (e.g. 3/5), then ranks all global players by (win count → tiebreak average error) on today's leaderboard.
- 4Daily settlement at 23:59: Top 50 split today's BC prize pool by rank. Top 1 takes the largest share. Below 51 → no BC but still counts toward season points.
Reward
Top 1: ~0.3 BC. Top 10: ~0.15 BC + daily title badge. Top 50: ~0.05 BC. Below 51: season points + leaderboard listing.
💡 Tip
Steady wins over hero plays. A 5/5 run with ±30ms average makes Top 50; a 4/5 with one perfect ±2ms usually doesn't. Aim for consistent winning over a single brilliant round.
Tournaments
Time-limited PvP events · 1 BC entry replaces hearts · ranks split the pool
Ranks split the pool
How it works
- 1From the Time Attack or Daily Gauntlet page, look for the «Tournament banner» at the top — pick an active event and tap «Enter −1 ◆». Tournaments come in 4-hour / 12-hour / daily / weekly cadences; choose what fits your schedule.
- 2Entry immediately launches you into the underlying gameplay (TA 5-rounds or Gauntlet 5-random-levels), but using BC in place of hearts. Your finishing score auto-submits.
- 3Not happy? Pay 1 BC again to re-attempt and overwrite your score (your best stays on the board). The tournament banner shows live ranking + pool + time-remaining throughout.
- 4When the event closes, prizes pay by rank: Gold (40%) / Silver (25%) / Bronze (15%) / Honourable (ranks 4-10 split the remaining 20%). Pool = 70% of total entry fees (30% platform rake).
Reward
Champion takes ~40% of total entries (e.g. 30-player event = 9 BC). Silver ~25%, Bronze ~15%, ranks 4-10 split ~20%. Top 3 also earn an exclusive tournament badge.
💡 Tip
If the tournament fails to reach minimum participants (e.g. 4-hour events need 10+), all entry fees are auto-refunded — your BC is always safe. New players: start with 12-hour or daily events; they reach quorum more reliably.
BINGO
24/7 continuous rounds · stop-time fills cells · complete patterns to split the pool
Complete patterns to win
How it works
- 1Opening the page gives you a free 5×5 card. Each of the 25 cells shows a target second (from 1.0 to 5.0, in 0.1s increments — 41 possible values). The distribution is random per-card BUT a fairness rule ensures: the same second NEVER appears at the same position on different cards in one round, so every player has equalized chance.
- 2Tap «Start» to launch a 5-second timer; tap «Stop» near your chosen target (each press costs 0.1 BC). The system rounds your stop time to the nearest 0.1s — e.g. 3.467s rounds to 3.5s.
- 3If the rounded value matches a cell on your card, that cell auto-fills with ✓. If the value isn't on your card, the press still costs BC but adds no progress. Run up to 10 cards simultaneously; one press can match multiple cards at once.
- 4Different patterns pay different prizes: a line (row/col/diagonal), plus, X, four corners, outer frame, full BINGO. Within a 24-hour round, the fastest player to complete full BINGO claims the largest pool share; other patterns pay tier prizes.
Reward
Full BINGO 1st: 50% of pool (typically 10-50 BC). X / plus / outer frame: 5-15% of pool. Line: 1-3% of pool. Four corners / participation: small BC. Pool = sum of all presses × 0.9 (10% platform rake).
💡 Tip
More cards = higher per-press hit rate (one press can fill N cards → progress ×N), but you pay a per-card cost up front. The 1st card is free; additional cards cost 0.5 BC each. Practice on the free card first; learn your stop-time accuracy before buying more.
Pick a mode and try it. New players: start with the main game at Level 1.
